All the items available in the catalogs of the Web site www.Villageitaly.com are sold subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. Payment and delivery conditions
Customers may choose among any of the payment and delivery conditions available on the Villageitaly site. Customers may pay by credit card, personal check and money transfer. They can choose between two different delivery options (with different delivery times).
2. Order acceptance
Orders placed by customers will be effective only upon receipt of an e-mail by the customers confirming their order has been successfully processed.
Should an order placed by a customer not be followed by any e-mail for confirmation, s/he may notify Villageitaly via the appropriate e-mail box.
3. Return policy
Villageitaly takes the appropriate steps to protect customers' rights in compliance with the applicable law to which the return policy is subject. Therefore, all purchases made in connection with Villageitaly services are subject to the Italian return policy (D.L. 15.1.1992 n. 50).
Villageitaly offers a 10-day return policy from the date of delivery.
Customers wishing to return purchased items must either:

- include description of the items returned.
- include purchase order number assigned when purchasing the item
Villageitaly will send the customers a return authorization number. Within 10 business days, customers must therefore return the items in resaleable conditions and in the original wrapping. The return authorization number must be displayed on the outside of the returned package. All transport charges will be paid by the customer.
Customers will be charged all restocking fees applicable on the return. The returned items must be in resaleable conditions and in the original wrapping, otherwise the return policy will not be effective
Within 30 days from return date, Villageitaly will reimburse the customers through money transfer. Villageitaly will only reimburse the price of the items as stated in the purchase order and on the delivery note. Under no circumstances will shipping and delivery fees be reimbursed.
4. Privacy policy
Italian law on privacy policy (L. 675/96) takes appropriate steps to protect customers' privacy. The personal information and data collected will only be used in order to process purchase orders, and they will therefore be provided only to the relevant shipping company. Under no circumstances will customer information be shared with third parties for commercial or any other purposes without the customer's express consent.
During registration the customer is required to supply personal data to process orders.
Once registration is over, the customer will be given a personal code number which s/he may use for future purchases. By using her/his personal number, the customer will be eligible for discounts, sales promotions and the launch of new products.
Villageitaly therefore advises always to use the personal number to avoid repeating registration procedures any time the customer accesses the site.
5. Delivery
Villageitaly will do its best to make sure that the items purchased are delivered as fast as possible. Any items displayed on the catalogs comes with estimated delivery time.
Villageitaly shall not be liable for any delays.
6. Warranty and support
- Villageitaly guarantees the items displayed against defective components and faulty workmanship.
- The manufacturers' warranty is effective with regard to the final product.
- Villageitaly guarantees to check each item before shipping.
- Manufacturers will repair or replace - at their option - the damaged items without charge. Damaged items may be replaced by similar ones of the same value. Should damages occur after the guarantee period, the estimated time and costs will be e-mailed to the customer.
- All transport charges incurred in connection with return or replacement will be paid by the customer.
